Apple has changed some foundational behavior of Logic Pro in 10.7.8. Now, when you initiate a bounce, instead of the Bounce Progress window appearing immediately, its appearance is delayed by about 1 second. Auto-Bounce currently depends on the appearance of this window to detect that a bounce has happened. The bounce window will still appear for most people since most bounces take longer than 1 second, but for short sections, this will cause Auto-Bounce to hang. If you experience this behavior, please use Logic 10.7.7 until we release an update to address this change. You have some options if you cannot downgrade back to Logic 10.7.7. Make sure your bounces take more than a second each. If you're sections are short, and you have a fast computer, you can "force" Logic's bounce progress window to appear by slowing things down. You can insert a CPU-heavy plugin on your Master Out and bypass it. You can run bounces in real-time. W expect to have a fix for this new Logic behavior very soon. Stay tuned!
