Subscription FAQ
Everything you need to know about Auto-Bounce’s subscription plan — how many computers it covers, how billing works, how to cancel, and how it works alongside the perpetual license.
Auto-Bounce is a professional macOS tool for Logic Pro that automates stems, mixes, batch exports, and complex bounce workflows. It is designed for composers, producers, and audio teams who need fast, error-free exports. Auto-Bounce handles stem preparation, stack management, solo/mute logic, and multi-pass bouncing automatically—saving hours per project. It integrates seamlessly with Logic Pro and is widely used in film, TV, games, and commercial music production.
1
How many computers can I use with the Subscription?
Auto-Bounce’s monthly subscription runs on up to two computers simultaneously under your account. No need to deactivate anything when switching machines — you can stay signed in on both.
2
How many computers can I use with the Perpetual License?
The Perpetual License runs on one computer at a time, but you can move it whenever you need to using the built-in License Manager.
3
I own the Perpetual License. How do I run Auto-Bounce on two Macs?
You can add a flexible $9.99/month subscription that gives you an additional activation.
• Turn it on when you need two computers.
• Turn it off when you’re back to one.
Your perpetual license always remains yours.
4
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Your subscription features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• If you also own the Perpetual License, that license continues working normally.
• You may cancel anytime before the next billing date and resume the subscription without needing a new purchase.
• If you allow the subscription to lapse past the next billing date (i.e., it becomes deactivated), you will need to purchase a new subscription — which will generate a new license code.
5
What is the difference between ‘Cancelled’ and ‘Deactivated?
Cancelled means you have turned off auto-renewal. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period and can still be uncancelled before the next billing date.
Deactivated means the billing date has passed with the subscription in a cancelled state. At this point the subscription is permanently ended and cannot be restarted.
A deactivated subscription always requires a new purchase.
6
Will I keep my license code if I restart later?
If you uncancel your subscription before the next billing date, you keep the same subscription and the same license code.
If your subscription lapses past the billing date and becomes deactivated, it cannot be restarted. A new purchase is required — and that purchase will generate a new license code.
7
Do I lose access to Auto-Bounce if I cancel?
Only subscription access is removed.
If you own the Perpetual License, Auto-Bounce continues working exactly as before on your perpetual seat.
The subscription only affects whether you can run Auto-Bounce on multiple computers at the same time and whether your activation is subscription-based rather than perpetual.
8
How do I cancel the subscription?
You can cancel anytime via your FastSpring account using the link provided in your receipt. After cancellation, your subscription will continue to work until the end of that billing period. Once the next billing date passes without renewal, the subscription will be deactivated and cannot be restarted under the same code.
9
Is the subscription monthly or annual?
Right now, Auto-Bounce is available as a monthly subscription. You’ll see the exact billing amount and next renewal date during checkout.
10
What if my payment fails?
Subscription plans include a short grace period, so a temporary payment issue won’t instantly interrupt your work. You’ll receive an email to update your payment method.
11
Manage My Subscription
Via your FastSpring account you can update payment methods, change billing details or cancel your subscription. Use the link provided in your purchase confirmation email. Make changes before your next billing date if you wish to avoid renewal.
